Final year Yabatec student was reportedly killed by cultist because of his girlfriend

A 23-years-old Yaba College of Technology student Adisa Akoredele was buried at Igbokila cemetery, Ipaya Ayobo Lagos state. It was a heartbreaking moment for the family and friends who grieved over the death of the final year student who was reportedly shot in the head by suspected cultists under a tree in the school. 

According to the reports by Punch Newspaper, a close relative who identified himself only as Lukmon for certain reasons has revealed that Adisa was precisely murdered due to a tussle over his girlfriend. He said, ''A classmate playing a game with him said his phone beeped and he left the classroom. They said he was under a tree under the department and the range from where he was shot was about 15 steps. I heard that he and some guys were fighting over his girlfriend.''

The father of Adisa, Mr. Bello Akoredele has vowed to make sure he gets justice for his son. According to him, he and his wife have spent a lot to train Adisa just to let him die in a manner like that. The State Police Public Relations Officer Benjamin Hundeyin has alleged that investigations are still ongoing.
