Man Who Murdered a 300 Level Student of BSU Finally Arrested in Benue Stae

Police in Benue State has arrested an estate agent for allegedly killing a 300-level student of Benue State University Makurdi. 

The suspect, Shagbaor Ugosor Japhet was apprehended after he reportedly received N150,000 from Erekaa Dooshimaa, to find her an apartment. 

Erekaa went missing for about two days before her body was found with blood stains around Brewery Quarters on February 22. 

Police Detectives traced her killers after going through her bank account where she transferred N150,000 through a POS machine to the suspect. 

The suspect while confessing said he used the money to stake a bet. He added that he later called the lady and hacked her to death 

“When she arrived at the dark corner of the street where I called her to come, I cut her with a machete several times leading to her death. I took her body with her iPhone and dumped her body on the street to make it look like someone else killed her.”
