50 Years old woman gives birth to triplets after failing to conceive For 25 Years in Lagos

A married couple from Lagos in Nigeria; were blessed with triplets after failing for 25 years to conceive a baby.

The middle aged couple described their journey to become parents as hard and painful.

Victoria Nwankwo (50); gave birth to triplets after 25 years of marriage; long after she had stopped menstruating and gone into a condition that may be described as menopause.

Victoria's businessman husband told a Nigerian based newspaper; Punch; that; there is nothing that God cannot do.

Michael Nnamdi Nwankwo; explained how the 25 year wait; for him and his wife to conceive; was daunting and painful. When the couple tied the knot they were in their mid 20s; and were both virgins at the time.

Victoria was quick to conceive; just two months into the marriage; she was expecting their first baby; however she had a miscarriage; when they travelled to Ghana.

Due to inexperience; the couple travelled to Ghana; without looking at the pitfalls of travelling while carrying a baby.

Following the painful miscarriage; the couple tried everything over many years; they did various medical examinations and interventions; but all of it; was in vain.

Twenty five years after keeping their faith and holding on to their marriage and vows; the couple says; God finally delivered triplets two girls and one boy.

Victoria had over the years; chosen to shut out the gossip mongers; and even malicious men who approached her; telling her to try them because her husband was failing.

Victoria told the Punch newspaper; that she delivered all three babies naturally. Saying it only took 20 minutes to give birth to the healthy trio. Calling the whole process a miracle.

Like most women who get excited after the miracle of giving birth to their own child; she now wants more babies.

At age 50; the first three; will teach her a lesson; she is not aware of for now; one baby is a lot of work; triple that; then decide if you still want more children.
