My children are into kidnapping and they are making good money, they ask me to join them

The operatives of the Nigeria Police have arrested a 55-year-old suspect identified as Usman Ibrahim for allegedly engaging in kidnapping activities.

According to Sun Newspaper, the suspect was arrested at Song by Logo area after participating in the abduction of several people.

According to the suspect, he was forced into the kidnapping business by his children who threatened to kill him if he doesn't join them.

He said the children were making a lot of money before asking him to join them. “My children are into kidnapping and making good money and asked me to join them. " he told Sun Newspaper.

The suspect also disclosed to Sun Newspaper in an exclusive that he used to be a cattle rearer and a farmer before his children introduced him into abduction for ramsom.

The native of Song Local Government Area of Adamawa State claimed that he only took part in two different operations since he joined the kidnapping business two years. He said he was reluctant to join them but he had no option.

“Initially I was afraid to join them in the business when they asked me to, but I had to join them 2 years ago and started going out for operations with them.”
